Appearance: Nana has long, unkempt black hair and golden eyes. Most of the time she has what could best be described as "resting bitch face." She tends to wear baggy, plain clothes and most of the time looks like she just rolled out of bed (because she probably did). She has a tattoo of her gang's symbol on her upper right arm.
Personality: Nana would be described by most as rough around the edges, abrasive, and blunt to a fault. Survival has required her being an act first, talk later kind of person, and she tends to see the world in a very black and white manner. However, for those she feels safe letting her guard down around, they will find a much more quiet, introspective person with a soft spot for underdogs underneath the tough girl exterior.
History: Nana was born a clanless orphan, abandoned to the streets and a life in the lower caste when she was just a few hours old. She grew up in orphanages, never having a consistent caretaker for her early years. The only semblance of family she would grow up with would be a street gang known as the Nasui. Initially recruited as a young child to engage in petty crimes, she quickly integrated and became a core member of the gang who were known for their hatred of the clans and those who bore KKG. Despite having found a place in the world, the gang life was one of constant violence and fear, and she lived with an understanding that even those she was close to would kill her to save themselves. A couple of years ago, however, Nana began having a change of heart and met someone who made her want to leave that life behind. It hasn't been an easy transition to becoming an official genin for the village, and Nana is currently mostly stuck between her old world of being a gang member and her new one of being a shinobi.
